Sailiya defeat hapless Kharitiyat
Two goals in ten minutes ensured that Al Sailiya registered a 2-1 victory over relegation threatened Al Kharitiyat on Friday evening at Al Ahli stadium.

Goals from winter signing Carlos Preciado & Bahraini Fawzy Aiish gave Sailiya a deserved win, despite a late fightback from Al Kharitiyat.

The first half was a relatively quiet one with few chances of note, however it was in the second half when the match came into its own.

Sailiya doubled their lead just 10 minutes later from the penalty spot. Bahraini international Fawzy Aiish slotted the ball away, for his tenth goal of the season.  Who also celebrated with his own dance, much to the delight of striker partner Carlos Preciado.

Al Kharitiyat fought back into the tie on the 69th minute, with Yahia Kebe. The Burkina Faso international swept in from close range after a good run from Issar Dia. However Sailiya held out the remainder of the tie, to grab all three points.
