QSL side Al Sailiya has renewed the contract of Romanian international defender Dragoș Grigore for two years. The contract extension comes after a string of impressive performances for the Peregrines since the start of the season.
Grigore was inintially signed from Ligue 1 side Toulouse on loan. However the club decided the reward the defenders hard work, with a permanent deal. Sailiya are currently in eighth place in the QSL standings.
Speaking at the contract signing, Sailiya head coach Sami Tarabelsi said: “Dragoș is a distinguished player; I am pleased he decided to stay with us. Especially because of his international experience, he can really help develop the side. Dragoș did receive a number of offers elsewhere, but I am pleased to say he chose Al Sailiya.”
