Match Kick-off 18:00, Wed March 10th at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium.

Qatar SC head coach Radhi Shenaishil
“We are playing four games in two weeks and that will be difficult for us and the other teams too. Against Jaish we were missing a few key players but my players gave their maximum and got the win. We are now in the last part of the league and we need to focus on winning all our games.”

“Now we are playing Shamal who are in the relegation zone and they need points desperately. The competition is very strong. We are trying to do our best in order to keep our place. But we also need to be careful because we have some teams who can win against the better teams.”

“As for Shamal, mathematically they are not relegated so they will fight to stay in the league.  Shamal has good players and they are trying to play with a specific strategy. They were close to winning a few games but they were unlucky. Our target is to stay in the top 4. We have to show the same level we showed against Jaish.”

“Khalid Zakiba and Maher Yousef will miss the next game due to injury.”

“There are maybe 3 or 4 teams who have the chance to qualify for the top 4. We will try our best to get there. We are taking it game by game.”

Al Shamal coach Dragan Cvetković
“I have seen Qatar SC play against El Jaish. They have a strong formation and despite the absences of key players like Hamdi Harboui, they won the match.”

“As for my team, I have given them a message that we have to be strong and stand up and fight. We need to use our brain and fight because this is a competition and not a friendly game.

“About getting Boutaher to take that penalty, it was my decision. It is difficult to accept that miss but we must now think about the game against Qatar SC. We have been working very hard in training every day. The team is really motivated and confident too. The goal that Dagano scored in the last match was a Champions League goal. So we have the quality but we need to find something more from the game to get the victory.”

“Teams that are relegated need to prepare themselves for two situations - to play in the second division and come back quickly. One victory will be good for everybody. And we want to give our maximum and more than that we want to get our first win of the season.”
