Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 14 match against Al Shamal.

”We are ready for the Al Shamal and everyone is working hard to collect points and return to positive results.

“We will face a good competitor who presented good levels in the first leg, and perhaps changing the coach will have a positive effect on them and it will be a difficult match.

“We respect the Al Shamal team and despite their recent loss against Al Sailiya by a 0-5 margin, they are a respected team and we must be fully focused in order to collect the three points.

“We put all our focus on this match and reaping the points, and we hope to appear better than the previous matches in terms of results and performance,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Mohammed Badr Sayyar said, “A strong match awaits us against Al Shamal at our stadium and among our fans, and we are determined to present a strong show in order to win and collect match points.

“It will be a strong match and all the upcoming matches are difficult. All teams are looking for victory and strengthening their points, and we must enter the match with a high concentration in order to win, regardless of the opponents.”
