QSL side Al Rayyan welcomed new head coach Michael Laudrup for his first training session with the squad.
Before the session Laudrup and his backroom staff spoke with the players to outline his vision for the team. Notable absentees for Al Rayyan included Rodrigo Tabata and Sebastian Soria who are currently away on international duty with the Qatar national team.
In other news, Al Rayyan has announced a friendly match against Al Khor in what will be Michael Laudrups first match in charge of the Lions. The tie is set to take place on Thursday evening at Al Khor stadium, and will be the first opportunity for the Danish coach to have a look over his side in a match situation.
Al Rayyan will then resume preparations for the third round of QSL action, when the reigning QSL champions will take on Al Sailiya on Saturday the 15th of October.
