Al Sailiyah’s Head of Football Abdullah Darwish has assured fans that Sailiya are looking to end their QSL campaign on a high with a win over rivals Al Arabi next Saturday.
In an exclusive interview with QSL online Abdullah said: “We are looking forward to gaining the three points. We are aware that it is a difficult game ahead, but we are capable of winning.”
Abdullah was eager to note that he expects plenty at stake between the two sides; “Arabi and Sailiya games are always lively games. Both sides want to improve their position in the table ahead of the Emir Cup competition.”
Talk turned to recent QSL form in which Al Sailiya have only registered one win in the last five games; “We have lacked concentration at key times in the last few games. The team is working hard to get rid of these errors moving forward.”
Abdullah concluded the interview with a few words on the current squad; “The management is happy with the performance of the players this season, the management is also pleased with the support offered from our chariman Abdullah Al Aidah.”
Al Sailiya will face Al Arabi on Saturday the 16th of April in their final game of the current QSL season.
