Al Wakrah welcomed Al Khor to the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium for the round 12 clash. Both teams were in need of the points in this match but as has been the case for most of the season, key injuries has had a devastating impact on the creativity of the two sides,

The game was largely a frustating affair for both coaches as neither side created any true goal scoring opportunities from open play.

The only real moment of merit came when Julio Cesar Donacimento struck a decent freekick in the 54th minute but the keeper got down well and made the save.

The referee blew the whistle on a goaless game as the two sides shared the points. 

Al Wakrah remains in 12th spot with 8 points whilst Al Khor is in 10th place  with 13 points.
