QSL side Al Sadd have been given 24 hours rest following their 3-2 victory over Al Sailiya on Saturday evening. Head coach Jesaldo Ferriera was eager to reward his side ahead of their Qatari Clasico against Al Rayyan.

The result against Al Sailiya has now pushed the Wolves up into second place in the QSL standings with a tally of 45 points.

The squad will now convene on Monday evening at Al Sadd’s training ground. The training session on Monday could see the return of midfielder Talal Al-Bloushi who has been absent in recent weeks with a muscle complaint.
