Al Rayyan Sports Club Vice President Rashed Al Khalifah said that their confrontation against Al-Seeb will be tough; the semifinal of the GCC Club Championship match is to be played on Tuesday evening. He said: “Al Rayyan is ready for this game and will try to reach the final which is to be played in Doha if we win.”
Al Khalifa renewed his confidence in the players and said: “The team forgot about their sad exit in the Emir Cup at the hands of El Jaish.”
He added: “Although being knocked out the Emir Cup made us sad, it has given us motivation to try and redeem ourselves during the match against Al-Seeb.”
Al Khalifa stressed that Al Rayyan respects Al-Seeb, as it is one of the Gulf teams that possess quality players.
