QSL side Al Gharafa have welcomed deadline day signing Rashid Sumaila to Doha, after joining the Cheetahs on a season long loan deal from Qadsia in Kuwait.
Sumaila is now set up to join up with his team-mates at training over the coming days. Al Gharafa, who is yet to register a single point in the QSL this season, are currently training over the international break. Noticeable absentees for Pedro Caixina’s side are Kooky Han, Vladimir Weiss and Kristian Nemeth who are all away on international duty.
In other news, Al Gharafa has announced that Mahmoud Abdulla Al Ghazal will be the head of football for the forthcoming QSL season. Al Ghazal is no stranger to Al Gharafa having been the vice president and head of football last season with the Cheetahs.
Al Gharafa will be looking to register their first points of the QSL season when they take on newly promoted Muaither when the QSL resumes on the 15th of October.
