Al Shamal coach Nuno Almeida spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 7 match against Al Arabi.
“We are waiting for a strong match against a big team with a long and very organized history, and it also includes a group of distinguished players, so we are well aware that the match against them will not be easy.
“We know that the match will be difficult, but we are looking forward to achieving our goal from the match, which is to win and collect the three points, so we must do our utmost to achieve our goal and reach a happy ending in this match.
“Our preparations were good during the last break in the league. I have full confidence in the players and their ability to achieve the best possible result and give their utmost effort,” said Almeida.
Al Shamal player Mahdi Salem said, “The match will be difficult for both teams, who are looking to win and collect the three points.
“We respect Al Arabi a lot. It is a big and organized team with players at the highest level, but Al Shamal also have players at a high level and are looking to win and advance in the league table.”
