Al Shamal coach Nuno Almeida spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 2 match against Umm Salal.

“We are waiting for a strong match against Umm Salal, which includes players with a good level, just as Al Shamal have players with a good level and are looking forward to competing and achieving the best results.

“Al Shamal will play to achieve the best result and continue the good path that we started in the first round of the league.

“The task will not be easy for the two teams in the match in view of their them's desire to achieve victory and collect the three points,” said Nuno Almeida.

Al Shamal player Abdulaziz Mohammed said, “We are ready for the game, which will not be easy against a team that we respect a lot and are aware of their strength.
