Al Sadd announced the return of captain Hassan Al Haydous to training with the team at their overseas camp in Spain in preparation for the new season (2024-2025).

Al Haydous recently underwent a successful surgery on the adductor muscle in London. He had his post-treatment rehabilitation under the supervision of medical staff before being back on the field.

Al Sadd, during their training camp in Malaga, will be playing their fourth and final friendly match against Spanish team Almeria on Sunday, July 28, at 8pm Doha time.

Al Sadd had played three friendlies at the camp – the first against Manchester 62 from Gibraltar which The Wolves won 8-0, second against South Africa’s Orlando Pirates which Al Sadd won 3-2 and the third against Spanish side Las Palmas that ended in a goalless draw.
