Al Shahania ended their overseas camp in the Turkish city of Izmit with a goalless draw against the UAE’s Dibba Al Hisn on July 27, 2024. It was their third friendly before returning to Doha for the final stage of preparations ahead of the new season.

Al Shahania’s Spanish coach Alvaro Mejia took advantage of the friendly match to ensure the players’ physical and tactical readiness before returning to Doha and continuing preparations.

Al Shahania had earlier played two friendlies. They beat Ghana’s JK Academy team 3-2 before losing 2-5 against South African side Kaizer Chiefs.
