Al Sadd face a strong test from Uzbek side FC Nasaf in the sixth and last round (Group B) of 2023-2024 AFC Champions League at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club on Monday, December 4, 2023. The kick-off is at 7pm.

Both teams are looking for victory and the three points from this match as each side seeks to improve its position in the group table and book a berth in the Round of 16.

Al Sadd are third in Group B with seven points (two wins, a draw and two losses). FC Nasaf are leading the group with 10 points, followed by Sharjah FC with eight points. Al Faisaly of Jordan are last with three points and are out of contention for a Round of 16 spot.

The encounter is important for Al Sadd, who are looking to appear better than they did in some previous rounds. The Wolves need to beat FC Nasaf by a good margin and wait for the result of the other match between Al Faisaly and Sharjah FC.

The top side from each group will advance to the Round of 16 along with the best three second-placed teams from among the five West Asian groups.

Al Sadd will regain the services of defender Paulo Otavio, who was missing in action in their 2-0 victory over Sharjah FC in the fifth round due to suspension, while fellow Brazilian Guillerme Torres may continue to be absent due to injury.

Meanwhile, Al Sadd had registered a 4-0 win over Al Shamal in Week 10 of the 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League.
