Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Al Sadd.

“A difficult game awaits us against Al Sadd, especially since the difference in points between us is one point in the table. It will be fierce due to its importance.

“We seek to overcome the mistakes of our last match against Al Sailiya, in which we were the best and closest to winning, especially as we got more chances to score, but we were not lucky and came out with a tie point. In general, I am satisfied with the performance and the players are all key.

“The loyal fans are always supportive of the team, especially in crucial times. That is why I see that their presence is very important in the next match against Al Sadd, which will be fun,” said Safri.

Qatar SC player Ali Awad said, “We made our preparations fully and distinctly, and we were keen to correct the remarks made by the coach. Our team is full against Al Sadd.

“I hope that we will succeed in collecting full points although the match will not be easy.

“Our team this season is characterized by a very good family atmosphere and everything is positive, and I am the son of the club and for the first time I feel that we are one family and a team that works in a spirit of teamwork, co-operation and enthusiasm.”
