Al Rayyan face Al Arabi in Round 5, Group B of the 2022-2023 season Ooredoo Cup on Saturday, 15th October. The kick-off is at 19:00 at the Al Egla 4 Stadium.

Al Duhail, Al Shamal, Al Gharafa and Al Markhiya are the other teams in Group B.

Group A consists of Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal, Al Ahli, Qatar SC and Al Sailiya.

Al Rayyan are placed fourth with four points from a win, one draw and two defeats.

Al Rayyan registered their only win of the tournament so far in Round 3, where they beat Al Shamal 4-2. However, The Lions lost 0-3 to Al Duhail in the last round.

In their other matches, Al Rayyan lost 3-4 to Al Gharafa and drew 1-1 with Al Markhiya.

On the other hand, Al Arabi had made it to the knockout semifinals, along with Al Duhail from the group, following their 1-0 victory over Al Gharafa in Round 4.

Al Arabi are currently placed second with nine points, one less than Al Duhail.

The Dream Team had earlier scored wins over Al Shamal (1-0) and Al Markhiya (1-0), but lost against Al Duhail (2-3).
