Al Gharafa face Al Markhiya in Round 5, Group B of the 2022-2023 season Ooredoo Cup on Saturday, 15th October. The kick-off is at 19:00 at the Al Ersal 2 Stadium.

Al Duhail, Al Rayyan, Al Arabi and Al Shamal are the other teams in Group B.

Group A consists of Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal, Al Ahli, Qatar SC and Al Sailiya.

Al Gharafa scored an exciting victory over Al Rayyan (4-3), and a draw in two consecutive matches against Al Shamal (0-0) and Al Duhail (1-1).

However, The Cheetahs lost 0-1 to Al Arabi in the last round and are placed third in the group with five points.

Al Markhiya, who lost 2-3 to Al Shamal in the last round, have yet to register a victory in the tournament and would look ahead to this clash to get it.

Al Markhiya are last in the group with only one point.

The match is only of academic interest as Al Duhail and Al Arabi had qualified for the knockout semifinals after Round 4 action.
