Al Ahli lost 0-1 to Belgian team Lommel in their third friendly match played in the Dutch city of Eindhoven. The match was a part of Al Ahli’s overseas training camp and preparations before returning to Doha for final stage of preparations ahead of the start of 2024-2025 season.

Al Ahli went into the match against Lommel with a line-up that included a large number of players who had not played in their previous match against UAE club Al Wasl. Croatian coach Igor Biscan chose to rest foreign professionals and give opportunity to a number of other players. He was also keen to ensure that everyone achieves the maximum possible technical benefit.

Al Ahli had played their first friendly at the training camp against PSV Eindhoven Under-23 team and won 2-1, while their match against Al Wasl ended 1-1.
