Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 12 match against Al Duhail.

“We are happy with the return of the league competitions again, and during the last break we were keen to hold a training camp, during which we succeeded in developing many important aspects for the team, and I feel satisfied with the results of that camp and thank the players for the seriousness and discipline they showed.

“We hope to appear in a good way in the second leg and not only in the first or second match, but we look forward to presenting our best in all upcoming matches.

“Facing Al Duhail, the league leaders, will be difficult. Al Duhail have great capabilities and have players capable of making a difference at any moment, but Qatar SC will be ready after the great work we have done, and all we need is to focus during the match and play with all seriousness and take advantage of the opportunities until we achieve the desired result at the beginning of the second leg.

“We are fully focused on the upcoming match against Al Duhail in the league, after which we will prepare for the Qatar-UAE Super Cup match against Al Nasr on January 17, hoping to achieve a positive result against Al Duhail,” said Safri.

Qatar SC player Raul Sanda said, “We have made excellent preparations during the recent period in order to play the second leg of the league championship well. We are waiting for a very important and strong match against Al Duhail. We know that it will be difficult, but we have the quality to achieve a positive result and to start well at the beginning of our journey in the second half of the league.

“We had a good camp during the break and the atmosphere was wonderful, and we hope that this will be reflected in a good way in our upcoming matches, during which we look forward to achieving positive results.”
