Al Shamal coach Nuno Almeida spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 10 match against Al Rayyan.

“We are waiting for a strong game against a big team and a prestigious club that includes players with distinguished capabilities, and has many solutions on the field.

“We too players at a good level and we hope to achieve a positive result, which requires us to be highly focused and organized on the field.

“Organization is very necessary in order to achieve the desired goal, which is to win and collect the three points and gain positive results in the league championship.

“The technical staff have worked during the past period to correct mistakes and identify all negatives in order to avoid them in the upcoming matches, which will not be easy,” said Almeida.

Al Shamal player Ahmed Dafalah said, “We will face a strong competitor in a match that will not be easy, but we will try to do our best in order to achieve a positive result and win and collect the three points.

“We look forward to be back on the right path and the usual level of Al Shamal team, and advance in the league table.”
