Al Ahli coach Igor Biscan spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 9 match against Al Shahania.

“Our goal is always to continue positive results in the competition and provide the best technical levels, so I believe that facing Al Shahania will not be easy. They are an organized team that plays with several motives in the competition, so it is necessary to play against it with high concentration in order to achieve victory and return to the path of victories.

“We appeared at a good level against Al Rayyan in the last round despite not winning and leaving with one point. I look at the match against Al Shahania with importance and to benefit from the positive aspects and develop them to serve the interests of the team.

“I realize what the team lacked to return to the path of victories and that I am certain of my players’ ability to provide the best and play with more focus to score victory in order to keep achieving our goals this season,” said Biscan.

Al Ahli defender Talal Abdullah said, “As players, we will make every effort to achieve victory and return to the path of victories after losing to Al Duhail and drawing with Al Rayyan.

“We have the ability to provide the best levels and advance in results, and we must be more focused in the next match and the rest of the matches. Ours is an ambitious team that has great capabilities and good levels, which make facing us difficult, but we are ready to achieve our goal of obtaining points.”
