Qatar SC coach Yousef Al Noubi spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 1 match against Al Duhail.
“The match against Al Duhail in the opening round of Ooredoo Stars League for the new season will be strong and difficult.
“But we are seeking a good start in the league championship and hope to achieve a positive result against Al Duhail.
“The preparation period that the team had was good, as the conditioning started in Doha and then moved to overseas training camp in Spain during which a number of friendly matches were also played that contributed to readying the team in appropriate manner for the new season.
“I am confident that Qatari SC players will provide the required level of performance despite the lack of players in some positions due to injuries, and the fact that a number of professional players is still not complete. But the team will work to provide its best and achieve a positive result,” said Al Noubi.
Qatar SC player Nasir Baksh said, “Everyone is excited for the start of the new season.
“All players are fully prepared to play our first match of the league championship with great hopes of achieving a good result and to present a good performance.
“The first match is always difficult for both teams, but Qatar SC players have the ambition to present a good performance with good teamwork, and we aim to make a desired start to the team's journey in the new season.”
