The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held the Technical Meeting for the 2023-2024 season Play-Off, which will pit the 11th-placed team (Al Markhiya) in the final standings of 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League against the second-placed team (Al Shahaniya) in Second Division championship at the Al Thumama Stadium on Sunday, May 5, 2024 (kick-off 7pm).

The meeting was held at the QSL Headquarters in Al Bidda Tower in the presence of, Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Sayed, Head of Football Operations at QSL, Mr. Jassim Al Hail, representative of Referees Department of Qatar Football Association, and representatives of both teams.

The meeting discussed organizational procedures and guidelines for Play-Off and approval of official kits for both teams besides emphasizing that in the event of a tie at the end of regular time, an extra time of 30 minutes, divided into two halves, will be used and that if the game is still tied, penalty shoot-out will be enforced.
