Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 21 match against Al Markhiya.

“Al Markhiya are a difficult team and are seeking to escape from the bottom of the standings, and they will fight until the end.

“They performed outstandingly during the last period of the league with the aim of avoiding relegation.

“This is an important match and we have prepared carefully for it. We were keen to prepare the players well to be at the required level that would enable us to achieve the desired result.

“We always strive to appear in the best possible way. We were not at the required level in the previous round and we hope to provide a distinguished performance in our match against Al Markhiya and achieve victory,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Ahmed Moein said, “Preparations to face Al Markhiya are going on well. Everyone realizes the importance of this match, which will be difficult, given Al Markhiya’s ambition to achieve points to stay away from the relegation zone.

“We enter every match with a strong desire to win and get three points, as Al Arabi are a great team who always strive for victory. As players, we have the determination to achieve success. We are all committed to giving everything we have to please the fans who support us at all times.
