Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 20 match against Al Wakrah.

“The match is expected to be difficult due to the strong competition in the league.

“Al Wakrah are a strong team with a good defensive organization that enabled them to achieve positive results. Victory requires focus and discipline and I hope luck will be on their side in this match to win and get the three points.

“The team presents distinguished technical levels, but were not successful. I still have confidence in the players and our style of play. The technical staff and players did not spare any effort in order to win in all matches.

“I thank our fans who strongly supported the team since the beginning of the season and I urge them to continue their support until the end because this support has a great impact on the players on the field,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Abdulrahman Enad said, “The players are determined to make a difference in the next match. Friday’s game is important for us. Al Wakrah are a big team capable of competing strongly and we as players must make every effort to achieve the aspirations of our fans.

“All our focus is on the Al Wakrah match and collecting points. We hope to fare better than in the previous matches in terms of results and performance, and we look forward to achieve a positive result that will please the fans.”
