Thani Bin Jassim Stadium of Al Gharafa club will host the match between Umm Salal and Muaither in Week 19 of the 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League on Friday, March 2024. The kick-off is at 9.30pm.

Each team will look to compensate for the losses they both suffered in the previous rounds and hope to return to winning ways.

Umm Salal occupy the eighth place with 20 points, while Muaither are 11th with 11 points.

Umm Salal, under French coach Patrice Carteron, will try hard to come back so as not to fall further in the standings after losing 0-2 in the last round to Al Wakrah. This match may be an opportunity to regain victories and the points difference between them and the teams chasing them is not far, so Carteron will seek to obtain the maximum points in the Muaither match.

As for Muaither, they are searching hard for a way out to get away from the relegation zone, especially since their presence in the penultimate position constitutes a burden and great moral pressure on the players, and therefore the team will try as much as possible to win the three points.

Muaither lost the last round match against Al Sadd 2-4, even though they initially led by two unanswered goals, but The Wolves turned the tables and scored four goals in the second half. Team coach Jorge da Silva will try to correct the mistakes of the last round and not repeat them.
