Defensively, they have conceded 18 goals, leaving them with the third strongest defence, behind Al Sadd and Al Wakrah.
In their last match, Al Rayyan, under Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim, secured a victory over Al Shamal with a score of 2-1, courtesy of goals from Gabriel Pereira and Roger Guedes.
On the other hand, Al Arabi are currently positioned fifth, right behind Al Rayyan, with 18 points. They recently played a thrilling match against Al Duhail, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Al Arabi have recorded four wins, six draws and three losses so far, scoring 23 goals and conceding 19. They are tied on points with Al Duhail, who occupy sixth place, but Al Arabi have superior goal difference.

The team will be without their player Hassan Alaa Aldeen, who was red-carded in the match against Al Duhail. However, they rely on the efforts of players such as Yousef Msakni, Marco Verratti, Abdou Diallo and Omar Al Somah.
