Qatar SC and Al Arabi will face off in a strong semifinal contest of the 2023-2024 season Ooredoo Cup at the Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Ahli club on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The kick-off is at 7.30pm.

Both teams are keen on scoring a win and making it to the final.

Al Arabi had finished third in Group A with eight points with two wins, as many draws and one loss. They scored five goals and conceded eight goals before surpassing defending champions Al Duhail 3-1 in the quarterfinal.

On the other hand, Qatar SC had finished in fourth place in Group A with seven points from two wins, as many losses and a draw. The team scored four goals and conceded eight goals before achieving a 2-1 victory over Group B leaders Al Rayyan in the quarterfinal.

Qatar SC and Al Arabi had earlier met in Week 5 of Expo Stars League, with the latter winning 1-0.

That, however, will not matter much in the knockout clash of Ooredoo Cup quarterfinal which is expected to be both intense and exciting. There will be fierce rivalry and enthusiasm between the two sides aiming to give off their best to advance to the final with an eye on the trophy.
