Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 10 match against Al Markhiya.

“We are ready to face Al Markhiya with high morale especially after the recent victory, which gave the players great motivation to keep winning.

“Al Markhiya are a good team and have players with a fighting spirit, so the match will not be easy. For us, we will go into the match with the ambition of winning and continue our journey at the best possible level and come out with points in the match.

“We are ready for the match and of course achieving victory, and the team has a high spirit. I hope that we will be more focused and determined in order to achieve a positive result and appear well,” said Younes.

Al Arabi goalkeeper Jassim Al Hail said, “The Al Markhiya match is important in our journey towards making a strong comeback.

“All players are responsible and we know that there is no alternative but to win the next match to continue the victories, especially since Al Markhiya aspire to win in order to escape from the danger zone.

“Morale is high and the victory over Al Wakrah in the last match will give us strong motivation to provide the best. God-willing, the high spirit will continue and we will capitalize on it.”
