Muaither face Al Shamal in Week 4 of the 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium of Al Rayyan club on Sunday, September 24, 2023. The kick-off is at 8pm.

It will be a contest of equals, with the two teams being fairly successful in the past three weeks. The match provides both sides a chance to grab points and rise in the standings.

Muaither have so far achieved one win after suffering two losses. They bounced back with a 5-2 win over Al Markhiya in the third week and are currently seventh in the rankings of Expo Stars League with three points, having risen from the Second Division. The team was distinguished with its strong performances even in defeat in the first two matches.

Meanwhile, Al Shamal are still searching for their first win of the season. They have logged two points so far from two draws and a loss – similar to that of Qatar SC and Umm Salal.

Al Shamal have Ricardo Gomes as one of their most prominent attacking players. He has scored three goals so far in the first three rounds.
