Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Al Shamal.

“In the last match against Al Gharafa we appeared well but unfortunately some mistakes caused our defeat. But our players had begun to find some confidence in themselves during that game and their performance began to improve. We hope that it will further improve in the next match helping us achieve a positive result and gain the points. Winning is very important, especially for a psychological boost for the players.

“Al Shamal are a very good team with a group of players who have great determination and tactical discipline. We hope that we will be better at a psychological level than our last match and find a way out of the dark tunnel in terms of results,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Saeed Al Hajj said, “Facing Al Shamal will not be easy and we need to be fully focused to get out of this difficult situation that we are currently in and make sure that Al Sailiya return to a better position.

“We are ready and our goal is to collect the three points from this important game and to start the journey to correct our path. We will do what we have to do and we will do our best until the last moment of the match.”
