Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 16 match against Al Sadd.

“The Al Sadd match is always strong due to the strengths of the opponents, who have foreign players and professionals at the highest level.

“The team’s preparations were with the same spirit and determination to get out of this difficult situation where we are in. All upcoming matches are of great importance and we tried during the preparation period to address some of the mistakes that the team made in addition to working on the psychological side.

“I urge the players to take advantage of opportunities and translate them into goals, because such matches have no room for wasting easy opportunities against a big team like Al Sadd.

“It will not be an easy match and we must play it with great discipline and focus, especially since Al Sadd will try to get close to the first place and we are also trying to move away from the last positions,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Ahmed Al Menhali said, “A strong and important match awaits us, and everyone knows that the opponents are going through a period that is not good. We are also lagging behind in the table and our situation is bad.”
