Qatar SC face Al Gharafa in Week 9 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. The kick-off is at 18:30 at the Al Duhail Stadium.

Al Gharafa are currently fourth on the standings table with 12 points, collected from winning three matches, as many draws and losing two games, the last of which was in the last round against Al Duhail.

Qatar SC are placed seventh with 10 points along with Al Ahli and Al Shamal.

Qatar SC have so far won three matches, drawn one and lost three, besides having a postponed match from Week 8 against Al Sadd.

Both teams are looking forward to achieving a victory and collecting the three points from a clash which is of great importance to both coaches. If Qatar SC achieve a win, they may move up the table and strengthen their position aiming for a top-four finish.

As for Al Gharafa, they want to improve their situation and not suffer a new loss under Portuguese coach Pedro Martins, who led the team in the first official league match against Al Duhail last week after assuming the technical responsibility having succeeded Italian Andrea Stramaccioni.

On the other hand, Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri hopes that his team will continue its strong performance after the break as it had achieved victory in their last round over Al Rayyan with a goal scored by Sebastian Soria.

With a lot to play for, the Qatar SC vs Al Gharafa match is expected to be full of excitement given the outstanding attacking players in both teams.
