Al Shamal coach Hisham Zahid spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Al Sailiya.

“It will be a difficult match between two teams smarting from defeats, each looking to fight back after losing in the last round. We are always optimistic, but it is necessary to be realistic and realize that the game will be difficult and fateful for us. It is necessary to achieve a positive result which is a basic demand of the fans, club management and players. We hope that the match will be the beginning of the team’s success and the recovery with positive results.

“On our part, we have prepared well and we hope that the mistakes will be reduced in our clash with Al Sailiya unlike in our past two matches,” said Hisham Zahid.

Al Shamal player Abdulaziz Metwali said, “A very difficult match awaits us, especially since both teams are eagerly aspiring to win and collect the three points in order to adjust their position in the standings table which increases the difficulty of the game.

“We are determined to achieve victory and collect the three points and return to the right path. We hope that it will be a match that will see the comeback of Al Shamal.”
