Al Duhail Club have announced official contract with Hammam Al Amin, the left back of Al Gharafa Club, as part of a swap deal to strengthen the team’s ranks in the new season 2024-2025.


In return, Al Gharafa contracted Al Duhail trio of Mohamed Muntari, Rabeh Yahya and Asim Madibo within the framework of the same deal.
Al Duhail stated in its official statement that, “Within the framework of cooperation and relations between Al Duhail and Al Gharafa clubs, the management of the two clubs agreed to conclude a reciprocal deal that stipulates that players Mohamed Muntari, Asim Madibo and Rabeh Yahya will join Al Gharafa club in exchange for the transfer of player Hammam Al Amin to Al-Duhail.”


Al Duhail strengthened their ranks during the current summer transfers by signing Spaniard Luis Alberto, coming from the Italian club Lazio, and also included goalkeeper Amir Hassan, coming from Al Arabi Club on loan for one season.
Al Duhail were ranked sixth in the Qatar Stars League club standings last season 2023-2024.


On the other hand, Al Gharafa signed Florinel Coman of Romania for three seasons, and Spanish player Joselu of Real Madrid, in addition to Palestinian Jamal Hamed (Muaither striker). The club also renewed its contract with South Korean defender Jang Hyun-soo for three seasons as well.
Al Gharafa finished third in the Stars League standings last season with 44 points.
