The programmes also touched on the most important topics of interest to clubs, such as the use of technology in communicating with fans, modern investment methods and attracting sponsors.
Club representatives also participated in the three-day FIFA Observer Programme, which included visits to various operations departments of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. They visited the International Broadcast Centre, headquarters of operations, transportation and main ticketing centre in addition to an introductory tour of the match operations in Stadium 974 and attended several matches.
The programme, designed through the co-operation of FIFA and QSL, is the first of its kind to be held between FIFA and a local league of the country hosting the World Cup. It aims to support and enhance the work of clubs in the areas of sports governance, effective management and provide opportunities for aspiring sports professionals to gain practical experience and learn from sports industry experts to create a sustainable human legacy for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
