Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 15 match against Qatar SC.

“Facing Qatar SC will not be easy and the match will be of great importance because we face a cohesive team having solidity and players at the highest level, and provides excellent results this season. That requires us to face them with the highest levels of concentration, perseverance and determination.

“Facing Qatar SC is very important and every lost point will be difficult to replace. The team that fares well and reaps positive results at this stage will succeed in moving away from the danger zone and we have a glimmer of hope with the return of spirit and determination of our players, and we have determination to get out of the current situation,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Hadi Ali said, “The match will not be easy, but it is natural that we go into the match with the aim of achieving victory despite its difficulty, which I consider as crucial for the team. We have no alternative but to win and collect the three points.

“The preparations for this game were excellent and the technical staff were keen to train the players on how to end the attacks especially since that has been our problem of late. In addition to that, we worked to correct the mistakes that we made during the last match against Umm Salal. Our morale was boosted after the great victory against Al Shamal (5-0 in Week 13) and we just need to play this game with spirit, persistence and determination in order to win.”
