Qatar SC face Al Sailiya in Week 15 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League at the Qatar SC Stadium on Tuesday. The kick-off is at 16:45.

The meeting will be exciting, with both teams desirous of advancing in the rankings table.

Qatar SC aim to achieve victory to continue their climb up the table and in the top four. They beat strong rivals Al Wakrah 2-1 in their last match and will hope to continue the good run.

But they face a challenge as Al Sailiya too have bounced back and are eager to score. Al Sailiya picked up four points in their last two matches. They had beaten Al Shamal 5-0 in Week 13 and played out a 1-1 draw against Umm Salal in Week 14.

Qatar SC are currently fourth in the ranking with 22 points from 12 matches and are behind Al Sadd, who are third, on goal difference.

In contrast, Al Sailiya are 11th with eight points and ahead of Umm Salal (12th) on goal difference.

Qatar SC need goals and wins, but the task surely will not be easy since Al Sailiya have regained both strength and form with the return of their local and foreign professionals.

Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri will work on choosing the needed formation for the match. The team has a distinguished group of players, including Sebastian Soria, Bashar Resan, Javi Martinez and Javier Pastore. It was also announced that Swedish professional Nabil Bahoui has been contracted until the end of the season to further strengthen the ranks.

On the other hand, Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi will push his players to overcome pressure from the opposition to ensure their progress in the standings.
