Al Sailiya face Qatar SC in Round 4, Group A of the 2022-2023 season Ooredoo Cup on Friday, 7th October. The kick-off is at 19:00 at the Al Ersal 2 Stadium.

Umm Salal, Al Ahli, Al Sadd and Al Wakrah are the other teams in Group A.

Group B consists of Al Duhail, Al Markhiya, Al Arabi, Al Shamal, Al Gharafa and Al Rayyan.

Both Al Sailiya and Qatar SC are seeking victory and full points in order to improve their position in the standings.

Reigning champions Al Sailiya, under Tunisian Sami Trabelsi, are the only team without a point in the tournament and they are placed last in the group, having lost all three of their matches (against Al Sadd, Al Ahli and Al Wakrah).

The Peregrines have a goal difference of -6 (two goals for and eight against).

On the other hand, Qatar SC, coached by Moroccan Youssef Safri, are placed fourth with three points. They beat Al Wakrah, but lost to Umm Salal and Al Ahli.

The Kings have a goal difference of -1 (five goals for and six against).
