Al Sadd face Al Ahli in Round 4, Group A of the 2022-2023 season Ooredoo Cup on Friday, 7th October. The kick-off is at 19:00 at the Al Egla 4 Stadium.

Umm Salal, Al Wakrah, Al Sailiya and Qatar SC are the other teams in Group A.

Group B consists of Al Duhail, Al Markhiya, Al Arabi, Al Shamal, Al Gharafa and Al Rayyan.

Al Sadd are second in the group with six points from victories over Al Sailiya and Al Wakrah. However, they lost to Umm Salal in the third round.

The Wolves, coached by Juan Manuel Lillo ‘Juanma’, have a goal difference of +6 (nine goals for and three against).

Al Ahli are third with the same number of points, but behind on goal difference, +1 (six goals for and five against).

The Brigadiers, under the tutelage of  lost to Umm Salal in their opener, but then won against Al Sailiya and Qatar SC.

Both teams have outstanding players in their ranks and that should make the contest a keen one.
