Al Markhiya face Al Shamal in Round 4, Group B of the 2022-2023 season Ooredoo Cup on Saturday, 8th October. The kick-off is at 19:00 at the Al Ersal 2 Stadium.

Al Duhail, Al Arabi, Al Gharafa and Al Rayyan are the other teams in Group B.

Group A consists of Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal, Al Ahli, Qatar SC and Al Sailiya.

Both Al Markhiya and Al Shamal have not registered a win yet in the tournament and, as such, would look ahead to this clash to get their first victory.

Al Markhiya are currently sixth in the standings with one point scored from a draw, while they have suffered two losses.

Al Shamal are fifth but also have only one point to their credit from a draw. They also have lost two matches.

While Al Markhiya are looking to emerge from their 0-1 loss to Al Arabi, Al Shamal are aiming to recover from their 2-4 loss against Al Rayyan in the last round.
