Al Gharafa face Al Ahli in Week 16 of 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Friday, March 3, 2023. The kick-off is at 16:55.

The match is a crucial contest between two teams who are separated by only two points. Both sides therefore will try to gain advantage by trying to win and rise in the rankings table.

The result of the first leg match between Al Gharafa and Al Ahli had ended in a 3-3 draw.

Al Gharafa’s Portuguese coach Pedro Martins will look for his team to keep up their good form after their recent 3-2 victory over Al Shamal, relying on his players, most notably Yacine Brahimi, Mehdi Tahrat, Almahdi Ali, Ahmed Alaaeldin and Homam Al Ameen among others to deliver once again.

On the other hand, Al Ahli coach Nebojsa Jovovic relies on a strong attacking line up led by Jordanian professional Yazan Al Naimat, Abdulrasheed Ibrahim, Sofiane Hanni and young striker Oumar Sekou, who scored two goals against Al Sadd in their Week 15 match, which ended in favour of Al Ahli 2-1.
