Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Arabi.
“The match against Al Arabi will be decisive, important and difficult at the same time especially since Al Arabi have a huge fan base and have elite players as well as technical staff. It is one of the most important matches of the round in general and for us we have the focus and desire to achieve a positive result.
“We are aware of its importance as we are used to dealing with each match separately. I would also like to point out that we are doing a great job. We have a system in place and team spirit. What we always need is the usual support from our loyal fans.
“We seek to continue our good run with the same determination and strengthen our position, especially our strong performance and result against Al Gharafa and Umm Salal. I hope we sustain the momentum until the end.
“The winning mentality has become a feature of the team presently and, thanks to the efforts made, we are on the right path.
“We have great overseas players as well as youngsters, who can deliver the good,” said Safri.
Qatar SC player Badr Bannon said, “Since the first day I joined The Kings’ ranks, I sensed the seriousness of work, enthusiasm of everyone and team spirit.
“The team has elite players who have the potential to be in the position it deserves and that is the ambition of all in the club.
“The match against Al Arabi will be very important for us and it is not an easy game, but we are determined to achieve a good result.
