Al Arabi will begin their Gulf Club Champions League (Group B) campaign against Qadsia of Kuwait on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Al Thumama Stadium. The kick-off is at 6.15pm.

Group B also includes Al Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia and Rifaa of Bahrain.

Al Arabi seek to provide their best levels in order to have a strong start in the tournament and with the aim of reaching the final stages and vying for the title.

Al Arabi coach Anthony Hudson will try to correct the team’s mistakes that happened during their match against Al Shamal in Week 7 of Ooredoo Stars League, which they lost 2-5, so they can surpass the Qadsia test and obtain three points, which will give them strong motivation.

The second round will be on November 5 and 6, third on November 26 and 27, fourth on December 3 and 4, fifth on February 4 and 5, 2025, and the sixth and final round on February 18 and 19, 2025.

The tournament returns after a gap of nine years since the last edition in 2015 when the UAE’s Al Shabab were the champions. This time, eight teams, divided into two groups, are competing on a home-and-away basis. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals.
