Al Arabi officially announced the departure of Brazilian midfielder Rafinha Alcantara from the team, after the official end of his contract with the club.
Alcantara joined Al Arabi in September 2022, coming from Paris Saint-Germain on a two-season contract.
The Brazilian player excelled in achieving outstanding performance levels, and played a key role in the team's victory in the His Highness the Amir Cup Championship two seasons ago, after a 30-year wait.
Rafinha also contributed to Al Arabi being crowned champions of the first edition of the Qatari-UAE Super Cup.
Al Arabi Club sent a message to the player through its official account on the “x” platform, in which they said: “Thank you for everything you have given to Al Arabi Club, and we wish you success in every step you take in the future.”
Al Arabi Club finished in fifth place in the Expo Stars League standings last season with 29 points.
They announced a few days ago the departure of Icelander Aron Gunnarsson, making Rafinha the second professional to leave the team.
