Al Rayyan will come across Al Arabi in the second round (Group A) of the 2024-2025 season QSL Cup at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar Sports Club on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The kick-off is at 8.30pm.

Group A comprises Al Duhail, Al Ahli, Al Shahania and Qatar SC besides Al Rayyan and Al Arabi.

The contest between Al Rayyan and Al Arabi will be strong and very important for both teams even as they would be missing many of their top players serving the national team. Matches between these two teams always carry a lot of excitement and see intense rivalry and competition in their bid to achieve victories and titles in various tournaments and this one would be no different.

Al Rayyan made a winning start, collecting three points, in their QSL Cup opener as they beat Al Shahania 1-0 in the first round.

Al Arabi too scored their opening win of the tournament by defeating Al Ahli by a similar margin in the first round.

Thus, both Al Rayyan and Al Arabi would go all out in their contest to keep up the winning run. While Al Rayyan will seek a second successive win, Al Arabi will also seek to take their tally to six points.

Coaches – Younes Ali of Al Arabi and Poya Asbaghi of Al Rayyan – will be working hard to push the available players to provide their best while chasing the three valuable points and competing strongly to qualify for quarterfinals.
